Terms of sale
The contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. If we cannot fulfil it — a piece sold out between your order and our confirmation, or we spot a pricing error — we will tell you and refund in full.
Prices
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the applicable rate. The price you see is the price you pay; delivery is shown separately before you confirm.
If a piece is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We will contact you and offer to cancel or to proceed at the correct one.
Delivery
See the delivery and returns page for methods, times and costs. Risk passes to you on delivery.
Returns and cancellation
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, for any reason, and return it for a full refund including standard outbound delivery. You have a further 14 days to send it back.
Two exceptions, both of which the law allows: engraved and personalised pieces cannot be returned, because they were made to your specification and cannot be resold. This is stated on the product page before you order. And earrings cannot be returned once worn, for hygiene reasons.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights if a piece is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
Faults
If something is wrong with a piece, tell us. Within 30 days you are entitled to a full refund. After that we will repair or replace it. Precious metal and stones are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two years — that guarantee covers faults in the making, not damage, loss or ordinary wear.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
