Privacy policy
This describes what Anjeya collects, why, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to anjeya.com and to orders placed there.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number if you give one, and what you bought. We need these to take, deliver and account for the order.
When you create an account: your name, email address and a password. The password is never stored — only a scrypt hash of it, which cannot be reversed.
When you sign in: the time, the IP address and the browser you used. This is shown back to you under recent activity so you can spot a sign-in you do not recognise.
When you book an appointment: your name, contact details and anything you tell us about what you would like to see.
Card details: never. Payment happens on our provider's own hosted page and no card number reaches our servers at any point.
How long we keep it
Orders are kept for six years. That is not a choice — UK tax law requires a financial record for that period.
Everything else is kept until you close your account. Sign-in history is kept for as long as the account exists.
Who else sees it
Our payment provider, to take the payment. Our delivery partner, to deliver the parcel. Our email provider, to send order confirmations. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.
Your rights
You can download everything we hold about you at any time, as a file, without asking us first.
You can close your account from the same page. That removes your account, password, addresses, wishlist, sign-in history and newsletter subscription, and takes your name off any review you left. Your past orders remain as a financial record, but they are detached from you and the contact details on them are removed, so they no longer identify you.
You can also ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or object to how we use your data, by writing to us. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
See the cookie policy. In short: two, both necessary for the shop to work, and no tracking.
